State Patrol

• Received a report of a two-vehicle crash with non-life-threatening injuries at Highway 60 and 478th Avenue, Lincoln Township, Blue Earth County. A 2011 GMC Sierra pickup driven by Joshua S. Schoener, 35, Madelia, was eastbound on Highway 60, near 478th Avenue when he collided with the rear of an eastbound 1995 Freightliner semi tractor driven by Joshua E. Gray, 32, Madelia. Schoener was transported to Madelia Community Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. An airbag deployed in the GMC. Gray was not injured. Both drivers wore seat belts. Madelia and Lake Crystal Police, Madelia Ambulance, and the Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Department assisted.

New Ulm Police

• Received a report of a two-vehicle crash with a possible injury at 8th North and State Street at 4:19 p.m.. A 2003 Volkswagen Jetta driven by Ethan D. Kopischke, 16, New Ulm, was eastbound on 8th North, entered the State Street intersection, when a 2003 GMC Yukon driven by Samuel W. Schwark, 36, New Ulm, was southbound on State St. and hit the rear left side of the Jetta. Damage was moderate to the Jetta and minor to the GMC. Both drivers wore seat belts. Kopischke had a possible injury.
