First Three Complete Citizens Leadership Academy

NEW ULM — Citizens Bank Minnesota announces that Melissa Bergeman, Lisa Reinarts and Jenn Wendorff recently completed CitizensLeadership Academy (CLA).

The CLA is an internal two-year program that was developed to grow leadership skills of staff members to prepare them to take on bigger roles in the organization as opportunities arise. The two-year program focuses on personal and professional growth. The bank looks for individuals who not only have a commitment to Citizens, but also have a desire to achieve extraordinary accomplishments through a leadership role.

Bergeman is a dedicated Citizens employee of 9 years and her current role is Citizens Connection Manager. She graduated cum laude from Minnesota State University Mankato earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Speech Communication with minors in Technical Writing and Interdisciplinary Communications. Bergeman lives in Madelia with her daughter Faith. Reinarts is a dedicated Citizens employee of 10 years and her current role is Assistant Operations Manager. She graduated from Minnesota State University Mankato, earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in General Management with minors in Accounting and Business Administration. Reinarts lives in Courtland with her husband Brandon and their sons Keagan and Kellan.

Wendorff is a dedicated Citizens employee of 15 years and her current role is Personal Banker. She is a graduated from Rasmussen College, earning an Associate Degree in Business. Wendorff lives in New Ulm with her husband Dustin and their children Makenna and Brody.

Citizens currently has 14 staff members in Leadership Development Programs who will complete their programs at year end 2019 and 2020.
