Promotions announced at HOP
MADELIA — Ogden Newspapers of Minnesota – House of Print announced staff promotions in the HR, Press and Sales Departments.
Renee Petersen has been promoted to office manager/Human Resources. Petersen has a background in office and human resources with 18 plus years experience with Palm Beach/Weeres, a division of Premier Marine, formerly of New Ulm. Petersen will lead the office and support production. She will support both employees and external customers through accounting and HR.
“Renee brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this position. We were fortunate to have her come work with us at House of Print,” according to General Manager Scott Geyer.
Kevin Spitzner has been promoted to pressroom manager. Spitzner has been with House of Print since 1985 and has extensive mechanical knowledge of equipment and processes. Spitzner will oversee the pressroom to continue the commitment to quality through technology. Production Manager Jeff Halverson said, “In over thirty years of working with Kevin, he has always helped out when needed. Kevin has excellent mechanical skills with a good understanding of computer driven automation. As pressroom manager Kevin will lead a talented crew to ensure the House of Print continues to be the very best Web Offset printer in the region.”
Brenda Ahern has been promoted to senior sales representative. She has worked for House of Print for over 30 years with experience as office manager/HR, customer service and sales. She has been in sales since 2012 and has a large customer base. Ahern will work to expand the sales base and footprint for House of Print.
“With print publications and technology changing rapidly we need to have top notch experienced people to work with our customers, Brenda brings that to our Sales department,” said Geyer.
