The Willkommen Committee of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce stopped by Sioux Trails Mental Health to welcome Joe Manuel, the new Executive Director. Joe has quite the experience, coming from Aberdeen, South Dakota where he was with Beacon Health Options, a National Behavioral Health Managed Care company. Prior to that Joe was the manager of a hospital-based in-patient and out-patient behavorial health and substance use treatment program. Joe told the Willkommen Committee that he values quality, individual services and being part of the community. Sioux Trails Mental Health is a non-profit organization with a total of 44 employees. There are also Sioux Trails locations in North Mankato, St. James, Gaylord and St. Peter, and Joe oversees all locations.
