NEW ULM — Western Nebraska native Bryce McVicker is a Minnesota-licensed land specialist agent for Southwest Minnesota.

Representing Whitetail Properties, a company created to bring together buyers and sellers of hunting, ranch and farm land, McVicker said college led him to South Dakota where he met the girl he would marry and follow to her Southwest Minnesota family farm.

McVicker said he is privileged to serve landowners and prospective buyers. He considers the Minnesota River bottom and connecting tributaries sprinkled throughout fertile cropland as offering a dynamic combination of terrain.

His favorite day to hunt is Thanksgiving morning. In his earlier days, he studied wildlife ecology in the Arctic Circle.
