NEW ULM – Stifel Financial Corp. announces that Steven Friese has joined the New Ulm, Private Client Group office of its broker-dealer subsidiary, Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, Incorporated, as a Financial Advisor.

Friese holds Series 7 and 66 securities licenses, along with life, health, and variable insurance licenses. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Finance from Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa.

Prior to joining Stifel, Friese spent 12 years in banking and finance, serving as market president of a regional bank branch and chief credit officer of an agriculture lending institution. Active in the community, he volunteers with First Choice Pregnancy Services and The Ivy House. He and his family are licensed and active foster care providers and members of Grace Community Church.
