NEW?ULM – Hearts Beat Back: The Heart of New Ulm Project has promoted Cindy Winters and Rebecca Lindberg.

Winters has been promoted to manager and will oversee programming, operations and staff in New Ulm as well as continue work on various public policy and program initiatives with the project’s many community partners. Winters was previously the project’s community programs and public policy specialist.

Rebecca Lindberg, MPH, RD, has been promoted to director of population health for the Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation. She is accountable for the overall population health strategic direction and operational leadership for The Heart of New Ulm Project, as well as the foundation’s women’s heart health program and other community programs. Lindberg was previously a senior consultant on the nutrition environment for the project.
