New Ulm businesses receive incentive from Heartland Power
New Ulm businesses received incentive checks from Heartland Consumer Power District recently. The checks were presented by New Ulm Economic Development Coordinator Brian Tohal. Heartland Consumer Power District, from which the City of New Ulm purchases most of its power, offers an incentive to businesses that increase five new jobs and increase their use of electricity. The incentive is a rebate of a portion of the business’ electric bill and a cash payment for new jobs created. Businesses that received incentives were Frontier Labs, SpecSys and Beacon Promotions.
