St. George Youth Bingo Sunday

ST. GEORGE — The youth members of the St. George Catholic United Financial are sponsoring a “Holiday Bingo” Sunday, afternoon Dec. 2, at 1:30 p.m. in the St. George parish center. Prizes for the bingo will be holiday articles and treats.

Desserts, Cookies, and Coffee will be available following the bingo This is a fun activity for the entire family. A percentage of the money raised at the event will be matched by the Catholic United Financial Association. Proceeds will be used for various youth activities in the parish..

Prior to the bingo at 11 p.m. Catholic United Financial members will be holding their annual meeting and luncheon.

Suzuki School to hold ‘Twinkle Gala’ Dec. 9

NEW ULM — The New Ulm Suzuki School of Music will host ITS “Twinkle Gala” on Sunday, Dec. 9 at the United Church of Christ, 301 South Minnesota from 5 to 7:30 p.m. The gala will feature live musical entertainment, a pasta tasting, beverages, and a holiday gift silent auction. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door.

A medley of festive holiday music will be performed by the Allegro Strings, a classical string ensemble. Catering is provided by Lola – An American Bistro.

The event is a fundraiser for the school to support its student scholarship program. Qualified students use the scholarships to enhance their private Suzuki lessons and/or participate in a Suzuki Institute experience.
