Low Vision gathering in New Ulm Sept. 24

NEW ULM — A Low Vision Resource Gathering will take place on Monday, Sept. 24, starting at 1 p.m. The location for the gathering is Ridgeway on 23rd, 720 23rd North in New Ulm.

Featured as a guest speaker is Stacy Shamblott and Eric Nelson from the Low Vision Store will be there, too. Refreshments and snacks will be provided.

Redeemer Pie, Ice Cream and Sandwich Social

NEW ULM — As a fundraiser for NUMAS house, a Pie, Ice Cream & Sandwich Social will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 26 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 700 S. Broadway, New Ulm from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

The menu for the day includes pulled pork or egg salad sandwiches, beans, potato chips, pickles, pie, cookies and ice cream and beverages. Everyone is welcome.

Gibbon Sportsman’s Trap Shoot

GIBBON — Gibbon Sportsman’s Club is holding a Fun/Merchandise Trapshoot. The Trapshoot will be held on Saturday, Sept. 29, starting at 11 a.m. at the Gibbon Sportsman’s Club at Clear Lake south of Gibbon on 62621 330th Street in Gibbon.

Games such as 5-Bird Shoot, 10-Bird Merch Shoot, Back Your Buddy,10-Duck Shoot and Annie Oakley can be played for $2 to $3 entry fees.

There is also a hint at special prizes for breaking white birds. Food and beverages will also be on sale.
