Auto Restorers Car Show

ST. PETER — The Auto Restorers Car Club of St. Peter is holding its 42nd annual Auto Restorers Car Show and Swap Meet. The Car Show will take place on Sunday, September 16 from 6 a.m. to 3.30 p.m.

The event will take place on the Nicollet County Fairgrounds in St. Peter, rain or shine. Admission per person is $5, kids under 12 are free if they are accompanied by an adult. The SugarLoom Band will play in the afternoon, coffee and rolls can be purchased. Balloting ends at 1 p.m., awards are handed out at 3 p.m.

Modenschau Fashion Show Sept. 20

NEW ULM — Join the shops of New Ulm for an evening of fashion, music and entertainment. Modenschau will be held on Thursday, Sept. 20, at Turner Hall, 102 S. State St., New Ulm. There will be a social hour from 5-6:30 pm, a silent purse auction from 5-6:15 pm, and the Fashion Show begins at 6:30 pm, followed by an exclusive After Hours at participating boutiques. A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit Project Lunch Box, a new program being developed by United Way of the Brown County Area.

Modenschau, which means “fashion show” in German, will feature the latest fall fashions from New Ulm boutiques Gallery 512, Inspired, and Bailey Creek. This year A to Zinnia will be featuring a favorite from the past, avant garde floral designs, as well as a new floral bar. Schell’s brewery will also be present offering samplings from their Starkeller Sour Beer collection.

Tickets are $30 for general admission presale and $35 if purchased after Sept. 17, and $50 for VIP. VIP ticket holders receive reserved seating in the front two rows and a swag bag full of fashionista favorites. All tickets include $40 worth of coupons at the participating boutiques. Tickets are available at the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce, Gallery 512, A to Zinnia, Inspired, and Bailey Creek.
