NEW ULM — Taco John’s in New Ulm is partnering with Mending Spirits Animal Rescue to hold a Fundraiser Fiesta.

The Fundraiser Fiesta will be held on Monday, January 22, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Taco John’s. Mending Spirits Animal Rescue will receive 15 percent of sales throughout the event as well as 100 percent of the tips. Mending Spirits volunteers will be greeting customers and answering questions folks might have about the organization.

Mending Spirits is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization that has several New Ulm area volunteers and that provides a valuable service to the region by working to place unwanted dogs and cats, and sometimes other animals, into homes. They are entirely foster based, so the animals are able to stay in private homes until they find a permanent home.
