SLEEPY EYE — The Sleepy Eye City Council on Tuesday will consider a liquor license application for Poppy’s Bar & Play on the Railway.

Dane Burton, the owner of Poppy’s Pizza on Main & 19 in Winthrop, bought the former Railway Bar & Grill on First Avenue from Dan and Sue Helget of Sleepy Eye in April.

The meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the council chambers. The meeting will not be shown online.
