SLEEPY EYE — The Sleepy Eye City Council will consider a couple donations at its Tuesday, Feb. 8 meeting in the city council chambers.

The Sleepy Eye Chamber of Commerce wishes to donate $13,822 for kayaks on Sleepy Eye Lake. In addition, Beth and James Klein wish to donate $50 to Sleepy Eye Ambulance Service.

Other agenda items include:

• Opening a public hearing for a request to rezone Lot 1, Block 3 of Haala’s 3rd Addition from residential to business industrial; rezoning a land parcel at 730 3rd Ave. N.E. from residential to business industrial; and a condition permit request for Lori K. Weiss and Michael R. Weilage to allow raising livestock at 1024 3rd Avenue N.E.

• A second reading of an ordinance to sell Lot 4, Block 2, Snow’s 1st Addition to Jeffery and Caitlyn Pietig for $90.

• A second reading of an ordinance to sell a triangle plot in the southeast corner of Outlot A, Snow 2nd Addition to the Pietig’s for $2,500.

• Calling for a public hearing on a house project tax abatement.
