Truth in Taxation hearing set for Thursday
NEW ULM–The New Ulm Schools Board of Education will hold a study session followed by the Truth in Taxation meeting, Thursday.
The Truth in Taxation presentation is an annual requirement of the school board. After the tax presentation the public will be given an opportunity for comments on next year’s proposed taxes.
During the study session, the board will review the school’s community engagement process. Superintendent Jeff Bertrang will give a presentation on school requirements. The board will also review their strategic action plan.
The study session begins at 5 p.m. in District Conference rooms at 414 South Payne Street. The truth in taxation meeting follow the work session.
