Summer Youth Camps at The Grand

NEW ULM — The Grand will be holding three youth camps this summer: two Creativity Camps and one Language & Culture Camp.

The Creativity Camps will be held June 7-10 and August 2-5 and are open to students who have completed grades K-7. The morning session is 9 a.m.-noon for younger students and the afternoon session is 1-4 p.m. for older students. Participants will explore ceramics, wood sculpture, drawing, painting, screen printing and more.

The Language and Culture Camp is July 12-15 for students who have completed grades 3-6. The camp will be held from 9 a.m.-noon. Students will explore the cultures and languages of France, Spain, Germany, and China.

All camps will be held at The Grand Center for Arts and Culture, 210 N. Minnesota St., New Ulm. The fee for each camp is $100 per student and registration is through Community Ed. www.newulm.k12.mn.us/community-ed/. Scholarships are available through The United Way and The Grand. Please contact The Grand for more information about the scholarships. All COVID requirements will be followed.
