NEW ULM — A new bike repair station was recently installed on the Martin Luther College (MLC) campus next to the Bike Circle Route. Funds from the MLC Golf Classic were used to purchase the repair station and then donated to the community of New Ulm. There are now three bike repair stations in town, including stations at the New Ulm BMX Park and the New Ulm Community Garden. The new station is located on the bike trail midway between Highland Avenue and the MLC chapel parking lot. This cooperative effort supports the bicycling community of New Ulm, MLC, and the work of the Heart of New Ulm to encourage bicycling and physical activity for New Ulm residents and visitors.
