NEW ULM — The August Schell Brewery posted that the 2021 Bockfest is cancelled.

“This may be a few too many people for Bockfest this year,” read a Facebook post with a large group of people at the brewery that was made shortly after 4 p.m. Friday.

“In the best interest of our friends and guests, we will be cancelling this year’s Bockfest,” continued the post. “The decision was not an easy one, but we believe it to be necessary based on the most recent CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention). We can’t wait to see you all next year!”
