Very high clouds were seen over Broadway early Tuesday evening in New Ulm. Trained weather spotters confirmed at least three tornado touchdowns in southern Minnesota. Confirmed tornados were reported on the ground south of Lake Crystal at 5:15 p.m., north of Mapleton at 5:30 p.m. and near the Blue Earth-Waseca county line. Hail was reported south of Sleepy Eye, northeast of Madelia.
