MVL to wrap up school, honor seniors

NEW ULM — Minnesota Valley Lutheran High School is holding Wrap Up Days this week, and will hold an online graduation ceremony on Sunday.

Wrap Up Days will allow students to drop off Chromebooks, textbooks, Pep Band shirts and band music, drama scripts, clean out lockers and pick up awards.

Seniors can pick up caps and gowns and get picture taken.

On Wednesday, May 20, MVL will hold a Charger Cruise at 7 p.m. (Seniors arrive by 6:45 p.m.)

Parents and friends are invited to attend. Park in middle of school parking lot or on township road. Faculty members will direct traffic.

A pre-recorded graduation ceremony will be presented onliine at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 24.

Graduation

This will be a prerecorded virtual service and presented online.

Presentation of diplomas will be held at 4 p.m.

Seniors and families are encouraged to arrive by 3:45. Faculty will provide guidance as to where to park. One vehicle per graduate to create “Charger Lane.” MVL is hoping to broadcast this ceremony over a low frequency FM radio station. The exact format of the presentation will be dependent upon the weather.
