St. Paul’s teachers treated to thank-you parade

Every Friday St. Paul’s Lutheran School parents of students in Grades K-6 head to school to drop off homework packets and pick up packets for the next week. The teachers patiently wait for the parents to drive up and exchange the packets. This week the parents decided to drive through the line with messages of thanks to the teachers for all they have done and continue to do for their students during this transition to distance learning. There were signs on over 40 cars, lots of honking of car horns, doughnuts (along with other treats) and coffee delivered, and one violin serenade of Easter hymns. Even though the teachers and students miss each other a lot, it was a joyous occasion to show appreciation to everyone working so hard at this time.
