Bridgework

Workers with Lunda Construction use jackhammers as they work on pier one of the Highway 14 bridge over the Minnesota River near New Ulm on Friday. The bridge is part of the Highway 14-15 Gateway project. A worker with Mathiowetz Construction said they can't provide an estimate for when the bridge will be completed. High water levels on the Minnesota River postponed work on the bridge earlier this spring and summer. The roundabout on the north side of the river opened last Monday.
