Red Bull Band shows versatility
NEW ULM — The 34th Infantry Division Red Bull Band displayed vocal and instrumental musical versatility at a Sunday afternoon concert at the State Street Theater.
Solo singers led renditions of “The National Anthem” and “God Bless America” early in the concert.
Sgt. Jeremy Andrin performed “The Blue Bells of Scotland” in a rousing trombone solo that displayed a wide range of pitches and speeds.
A saxophone quartet played “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” which nicely offset the previous piece.
