Two days after playing Bavarian Blast, The Wendinger Band performed in German Park as part of the Monday Concert in the Park series. The Wendinger Band opened with a rendition of “The Happy Wanderer,” “The Two Fat Polka” and “Twilight in Bohemia.” The band was also joined by The Narren, fresh off their appearance as Grand Marshalls in the Bavarian Blast Parade. Next Monday’s Concert in the Park will coincide with National Night Out. National Night Out begins at 5:30 p.m. in German Park and will feature food, music, entertainment, children’s games, and community outreach events. The Schell’s Hobo Band will perform.
