NEW ULM — A special meeting of the New Ulm City Council, scheduled for 8 a.m. Monday, will be televised on nuCAT, the New Ulm Cable Access public access channel.

The meeting is being held to consider the appointment of former New Ulm Chamber of Commerce CEO Audra Shaneman as the new assistant city manager/economic development director.

The appointment was tabled at Tuesday’s New Ulm City Council meeting after the council tied with a 2-2 vote while Council President Charles Schmidt was absent.

The special meeting Monday is scheduled to be replayed at 10 a.m.
