Planning panel OKs permit

NEW ULM — The Brown County Planning Commission unanimously approved a Conditional Use Permit Application Tuesday by Jeremy Hogen on property he owns described as the Lamonte Helget Subdivision in Section 26, Leavenworth Township.

The action to allow a feedlot expansion to a maximum of 100 animal units all in the A-1 Agricultural Protection Zoning District came on a motion by Commissioner Dennis Potter, seconded by Commissioner Tony Berg.

Other agenda items unanimously approved included:

• A final plat application filed by Bradley Carlson on property owned by Allan Lee and Wendy Butler known as Willow Haven Second Subdivision (8.94 acres) in Section 27, Albin Township came on a motion by Commissioner Potter, seconded by Commissioner Anita Mohr. The application is to re-subdivide to add land to a building site, all in the A-1 zone.

• A preliminary plat application filed by Donna Ahlness on property owned by Donna Ahlness known as Jerry Ahlness Subdivision (7.66 acres) and 120 acres of Section 31, and tracts of land north and west of the center line of Brown Watonwan Judicial Ditch 14 (41.33 acres) all in Linden Township. The application, approved on a motion by Commissioner Tony Berg, seconded by Commissioner John Rolloff, is to split a building site from tillable acres, all in the A-1 zone.

• A preliminary plat application filed by Jerold Peters on property owned by Jerold & Rebecca Peters known at Neilsen Peters Subdivision (4.69 acres) and the north 29 acres of Section 31, all in Prairieville Township. The application, approved on a motion by Commissioner Potter, seconded by Commissioner Mohr, is to split a building site from tillable acres, all in the A-1 zone.

• A preliminary plat application filed by Justin Walters on property he owns known as Walters 3rd Subdivision (5.18 acres) in Lake Hanska Township. The application approved on a motion by Commissioner Berg, seconded by Commissioner Mohr, is to split the building site from tillable acares. all in the A-1 zone.

• A preliminary plat application filed by Daniel Bottin on property owned by Daniel & Susan bottin known as Bottin Farm Subdivision (3.93 acres), Lot 1, Tande Subdivision, Section 32, Albin Township. The application, approved on a motion by Commissioner Potter, seconded by Commissioner Rolloff, is reorganizing a building site, all in the A-1 zone.

• Planning & Zoning recommendations will be considered by Brown County commissioners at 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 18.
