A picnic table remains on dry ground, but the rising Minnesota River floods the eastern part of Riverside Park in New Ulm Tuesday. The river was measured at 801.3 feet at 8:45 a.m. Wednesday. Minor flooding is occurring and forecast. Flood stage is 800 feet. The river is forecast to rise to near 802 feet by Friday morning, then begin falling.
