Tanner M. Klammer, the 16-year-old Sleepy Eye youth who disappeared May 10 triggering a search by law enforcement, has returned to his home in Sleepy Eye safe and healthy. The Sleepy Eye Police Department announced that a member of Klammer’s family notified them of his return on Friday. No criminal activitiy was suspected, according to the press release.

Information on Klammer’s whereabouts for the past week were not available.

“The Sleepy Eye Police Department wishes to thank the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension for their assistance in locating Tanner,” the press release said. “The Sleepy Eye Police Department also wishes to thank members of the public for help in finding Tanner.”
