Nic. Co. Highway 21 closes as Minnesota surges
Nicollet County Highway 21 closed Monday, from Highway 14 to Highway 4 and from Highway 4 to Highway 15, due to rising Minnesota River levels. The Minnesota River at New Ulm was observed at 807.5 feet at 3:45 p.m. Monday, according to the National Weather Service Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Service. The river was forecast to crest at 808 feet Tuesday afternoon and remain above major flood stage (806 feet) until late Saturday.
