MDA donations

Applebee’s teams up with MDA (Muscular Dystrophy Association) every March to raise money to send local kids to summer camp. Shamrocks are sold to guests of Applebee’s throughout the month with 100 percent of the profits going straight to MDA. This year the New Ulm location sold $5,270 worth of Shamrocks, making New Ulm the top selling Applebee’s in the state. For every $1,000 of shamrocks sold a child is able to go to Camp Courage, a camp specially designed for children with MD, at no cost to the family. Shannon Lind (above), a server and bartender here at Applebee’s, sold $2,477 herself. On 3/21/19 Applebee’s signed over a check to the MDA for over $77,000.
