BROWN COUNTY — Three felony 2nd-degree criminal sexual conduct charges were filed Monday against a 47-year-old Sleepy Eye man accused of fondling a girl under age 13 three times between Jan. 1, 2016 and Dec. 31, 2018.

Salvador R. Arista III, 409 Main St. W. was summoned to appear in court to face the charges at 8:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 9, according to court documents.

According to court documents, Sleepy Eye Police were made aware of a child protection case involving the alleged victim on March 4. In an interview at Brown County Human Services on March 5 in the girl identified Arista and said he touched her inappropriately on three occasions.
