Planning panel OKs preliminary plats

NEW ULM — The Brown County Planning Commission unanimously approved preliminary plats Tuesday.

The first application filed by Dennis Potter was for 2.5 acres of property owned by Potter Enterprises, Inc., Section 14, North Star Township, all in the A-1 Agricultural Protection Zoning District. The property being platted is to split a house from the remaining farmstead.

The second application filed by Nathan Gieseke of Central Region Coop is for 2.37, 90 and .75 acre warehouse lots known as Central Region Essig Addition in Milford Township. All property is located in the I-1 Limited Industry Zoning District. Parcels being platted are a reorganization of existing platted lots to facilitate an impending sale.
