Calling all women: Women’s Forum seeks to provide networking opportunities

NEW ULM — A new non-profit forum and networking group is launching in New Ulm and seeking local women from all backgrounds to join its ranks to be of service to each other and the community.

The networking group, the Women’s Forum, is holding it’s launch party from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at the New Ulm Country Club, 1 Golf Dr. The launch party features a short presentation detailing what the group hopes to achieve, followed by a networking mingle.

“There’s a lot of women in New Ulm who want to network,” co-founder Andrea Boettger said. “The goal is to help women expand professional and personal networks and exchange opportunities with others.”

Through a combination of quarterly luncheons and social events, the Women’s Forum’s mission is to create a centralized forum for women to bond, network professionally, build a social circle and exchange ideas and opportunities together.

The Women’s Forum accepts membership from women of all ages, occupations and backgrounds.

To contact Women’s Forum, email TheWomensForumNU@gmail.com or visit their Facebook page, TheWomensForumNU, for details on membership benefits.
