UP pledges to State Street Theater

United Prairie Bank (UPB) of New Ulm has pledged $5,000 to the capital campaign of the State Street Theater Co. UPB President Mark Petersen said the bank is “grateful to the theater volunteers for staying the course and making the effort to steward not only bringing needed utilities into the theater, but to assure New Ulm has an active performing arts center. They have grown their reputation in providing a variety of plays featuring area residents, in bringing other musical venues to the stage for our enjoyment, and in providing theater-related education through workshops. UPB is proud to be a part of supporting this community asset.” Theater representative Dennis Frederickson said this pledge, along with others recently received, brings the campaign total to just under $300,000.
