Ribbon cutting for Kemske’s/River Bend

NEW ULM — The New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce Willkommen Committee held a ribbon cutting ceremony for Kemske’s, A River Bend Business Product Company.

The two local business supply companies formally merged earlier this year, and the business is now located at 203 N. Minnesota St. Upgrades to the building’s second floor window began last month. The ground floor windows will be updated at later date.

The merger of the two businesses combines is the best of both companies, the management said. The printing and computer capabilites of Kemske’s are now located in the River Bend building, and two local businesses remain in downtown New Ulm.

Kemske’s has been a local business since 1914. River Bend has been in business since 1982.
