Planning panel OKs plat applications

NEW ULM — The Brown County Planning Commission unanimously approved preliminary plat applications in Cottonwood and Leavenworth Townships and final plat applications in Leavenworth and Prairieville Townships Tuesday.

Final plat applications approved were filed by Joleen Dittbenner on property owned by Marian Johnson, 5 acres known as Dittbenner 2nd Subdivision in Section 12, Prairieville Township. In addition, an application filed by Doug Helget on property owned by LaMonte & Elaine Helget, 7.29 acres, Section 26, Leavenworth Township. Both parcels being platted are existing building sites being split off from tilled ground.

Preliminary plat applications approved were filed by Janet Mielke on property owned by Janet Mielke, Jeffrey J. Lund and Thomas & Sharon Mages, known as Mielke Subdivision, Lot 1 2.5 acres, Lot 2 2.2 acres, Lot 3 1.1 acres, Section 9, Cottonwood Township. All lots are located in the I-1 Limited Industry Zone. Parcel is being plated to reorganize lots.

In addition, an application filed by David Schumacher, known as R&M Woods Subdivision, Lot 1 16.04 acres, Lot 2 25.83 acres, Lot 3 6.78 acres, Lot 4 22.11 acres, Section 19 and 30, Leavenworth Township. All are located in the A-1 Agricultural Protection Zoning District. Parcels being plated are wooded lots being split off from tillable land.
