Courtland man injured in Franklin area farm accident
FRANKLIN — A Courtland man sustained serious injuries in a farming accident norhteast of Franklin.
At 9:58 a.m. Friday, Renville County Sheriff’s Office was notified of an accident at a hog barn site on 660th Aveneu in the Bandon Township, approximately two miles northeast of Franklin.
Chad A. Noethe, 47, of Courtland was pumping manure out of a hog barn when a piece of this clothing got caught in the power take off, trapping his arm in the power take off shaft.
By the time first responders had arrived, Noethe had was already freed from the equipment. He was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
