Law enforcement and ambulance crews responded to an crash involving a Federal Express freightliner van and a 2008 Chevrolet impala at about 9:23 a.m. Thursday. Danielle Lynn Deopere, 33, of New Ulm was westbound on 68 in the Impala, and Peter Earl Hodge, 25, of Mankato was southbound on 120th Ave. when the two vehicles collided in the intersection. Allina ambulance took both to the New Ulm Medical Center Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Brown County Sheriff, New Ulm Police and the Minnesota State Patrol responded to the scene.
