NEW ULM — The new inclusive playground is on the rise at German Park. Crews have been at work installing the new playground equipment for the last few days.

The new playground will incorporate the castle theme of the previous playground, but will also include inclusive items similar to the Hermann Heights playground.

Before the playground is ready for children, a pour-in-place rubber surfacing is needed for the site. The date the rubber surfacing is poured is dependent on the weather, but it will likely occur next week.
