A light afternoon rain falls as heavy earth-moving equipment moves up and down the eastern Minnesota River Valley bluff, east of Third North Street, May 14. New Ulm Gateway construction including replacing the Minnesota River and Front Street bridges, plus building an interchange at the Y intersection of Highways 14/15 and Nicollet County Road 21, began last fall. The project will continue to fall 2019.
