NICOLLET — A house in Nicollet was destroyed in a fire Tuesday.

At 7:40 a.m. the Nicollet County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a house fire at 904 4th St. The Nicollet Fire Department found the house fully engulfed. The occupants were able to escape unharmed.

The Sheriff’s Office, State Patrol, City of Nicollet Maintenance Department, Courtland, St. Peter, Lafayette, South Bend and North Mankato Fire Departments, Gold Cross Ambullance and South Central Regional Rehab trailer assisted at the scene.

The State Fire Marshall is investigating the cause of the fire.
