Juveniles injured in rollover crash identified

BROWN COUNTY–Brown County Sheriff’s Office released the names of the six juveniles from New Ulm involved in the roll over accident Saturday morning on Brown County Road 27 near the intersection with Brown County Road 10.

The accident occured at 12:49 a.m. Saturday and involved a pickup truck that had been reported stolen earlier in the week.

Following the accident Sandra Adame, 13, Hunter Hutchens, 14, and Colton Krienke, 14 were treated for various injuries at Sleepy Eye Medical Center and released.

Elias Alvarez, 11, Ruben Olivarez Jr., 14, and Bryan Singlaterry, 14, were airlifted to Hennepin County Medical Center for serious injuries.

As of Monday, both Olivarez and Singlaterry were listed in satisfactory condition, but Alvarez remained in critical condition.

A GoFundMe page was created to help cover the medical bills for Alvarez and his brother Olivarez.

The vehicle involved in the accident was a 1999 Ford F-150 pick-up. The truck was reported as stolen from New Ulm on Sunday, Aug. 27.

The crash and vehicle theft are still under investigation by the Brown County Sheriff’s Department.
