New Ulm Farm Toy Show

Twin brothers Jerry and Jimmy Dekam returned to the New Ulm Toy Fair with their scale farm model. The model features several farm building in addition to miniature figurines of people and animals.
A big display of John Deere replicas draws some interested looks.
Not all the miniatures are farm themed. This Munster themed miniature was designed by David Morrow and his family. They belonged to a Mankato based ministure club called South Central Miniatures of Minnesota. The Toy Show is a chance to show off their work.
This toy replica of a Case tractor circa the 1940s belongs to Merle Johnson of Jackson, Minnesota. Johnson has an extensive collection of toy tractors for sale at the Toy Show. There is a miniature version of nearly every type of tractor ever built at the Toy Fair—its just a question of asking the right person.

The New Ulm Farm Toy Show is taking place this weekend at the New Ulm Civic Center. Hours today are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.. Admission is $3.50 per person, with 10 and under admitted free.
