JANESVILLE — The Minnesota Valley Lutheran speech team competed Saturday in the JWB Bulldog Invitational in Janesville.

In the novice division, Ari Selvey placed 2nd in the Humorous Intrepretation category, and Rachel Ruschmeyer placed 1st in novice Poetry.

On the varsity team, Hannah Mohror placed 4th and Abigail Pleiss placed 1st in Extemporaneous Reading; Elizabeth Kassuelke placed 5th in Poetry.
