Children make paper decorations depicting the Turkish saint, St. Nikolaus for an early St. Nikolaus Day celebration at the Public Library Saturday. Librarians read stories about St. Nikolaus, the Turkish saint who’s special day is celerbated on Dec. 6 with gifts for good children, and lumps of coal for the naughty ones. Children also made paper decorations, and sang German Christmas carols.
