Tech Unlimited seeks to offer friendly service

NEW ULM – Tech Unlimited, at 315 3rd Street North, will begin offering repair services starting after Sept. 12.

The new business is owned and operated by Chad Aukes. He offers PC and screen repairs (the latter for both phones and tablets), as well as wireless and network services.

Tech Unlimited will be open by appointment only. Aukes will generally only be available after 5 p.m.

Aukes wants to be the friendly, neighborhood tech guy that is everyone’s go-to for repair.

“I guess I would want to be a friend first and a business second,” said Aukes. “To give people what they actually need and not anymore or any less.”

Since he was young, Aukes has had an interest in technology.

“In high school I had a microcomputers class and after that I got into programming at South Central College and decided I really did not like that very much,” said Aukes. “So I did more of the networking at Rasmussen College and finished up there.”

The fledgling business owner used to work for N.U. Telecom, until he decided to branch out on his own.

“I really wanted to offer services my way,” said Aukes.

Aukes is an Apple Certified Mac Technician, has his Comptia A+ and Network+ certificates and his AAS Degree in Network Administration from Rasmussen College.

He has lived here four years with his wife and they have three children. For a list of services and prices go to techunlimitedllc.com. To make an appointment call 507-276-5059 or email Aukes at chad@techunlimitedllc.com.
