JUDSON – A 20-year-old Lake Elmo man died from injuries received in a single-vehicle motorcycle accident reported at 6:43 p.m. Thursday on the Judson Bottom Road near Minnemishinona Falls.

John Carlson, was westbound on County Road 41 when he lost control on a curve, crossed into the eastbound lane and hit a guard rail. Carlson was transported by Gold Cross Ambulance to Mayo Clinic Health System, Mankato and later airlifted to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester where he died.

The Nicollet County Sheriff’s Office and North Mankato Police assisted at the scene.
