NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
WHEREAS, the New Ulm Planning Commission has initiated proceedings to amend Section 9.14. General Regulations of the City Code to allow zero lot line setback standards for residential buildings sharing a common party wall; and
WHEREAS, Tim Rieke, on behalf of Tim Rieke Real Estate Holdings, LLC, has filed an application with the City of New Ulm requesting a Conditional Use Permit to allow the location of a residential dwelling unit on the first floor of a building situated in a B-2 (Service Business) zoning district. This property is legally described as Lot 1, Block 104 North of Center Street. The street address of the property is 101 North Broadway; and
WHEREAS, Al Poehler, on behalf of S & P Development, LLC, has filed an application with the City of New Ulm requesting a variance from the City Code to allow a 0′ side yard setback for the purpose of constructing twin homes on the property located at 630-654 Waraju Avenue and legally described as Lots 1-7, Block 2, Milford Heights Second Addition. The required setback is 15′; and
WHEREAS, the City Code requires that these matters be considered by the New Ulm Planning Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, pursuant to the City Code, the New Ulm Planning Commission will meet at 4:30 P.M. on Thursday, January 30, 2020 in the City Hall Council Chambers, 100 North Broadway, New Ulm, Minnesota to consider these matters. The public and all interested parties are hereby notified of said hearings.
