NOTICE OF FILING FOR TOWNSHIP ELECTION

Notice is hereby given to qualified voters of Milford Township, Brown County, State of Minnesota, that filling of town office will be held for a two week period beginning December 31, 2019. Affidavits of Candidacy shall be filed with the Town Clerk at the Clerk’s office, 27332 187th , New Ulm.

Filing will close at 5:00 p.m. on January 14, 2020. Filing fee: $ 2.00

The office to be filled at the March Annual Election is one Supervisor for a three year term.

NOTICE OF AND ORDER FOR HEARING ON PETITION FOR FORMAL ADJUDICATION OF INTESTACY, DETERMINATION OF HEIRS, FORMAL APPOINTMENT OF PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVE, AND NOTICE TO CREDITORS

It is Ordered and Notice is given that on January 6, 2020 at 9:00 AM a.m./p.m., a hearing will be held in this Court at the Brown County Courthouse, 14 South State Street, New Ulm, Minnesota 56073-0248, for the adjudication of intestacy and determination of heirs of the decedent, and for the appointment of Shelley Brandt, whose address is 525 Linda Dr., Eagle Lake, Minnesota 56024, as personal representative of the decedent’s estate in an unsupervised administration.

Any objections to the petition must be raised at the hearing or filed with the Court prior to the hearing. If the petition is proper and no objections are filed or raised, the personal representative will be appointed with the full power to administer the estate, including the power to collect all assets; to pay all legal debts, claims, taxes, and expenses; to sell real and personal property; and to do all necessary acts for the estate.

Notice is also given that, subject to Minn. Stat. 524.3-801, all creditors having claims against the estate are required to present the claims to the personal representative or to the Court Administrator within four (4) months after the date of this notice or the claims will be barred.
