Sibley County Court

• Bail was set at $500,000 cash or bond July 14 for Joshua Adam Bashans, 43, Brownton on a charge alleging unlawful possession of a firearm.

• Unconditional bail was set at $12,000 cash or bond July 15 for Christian David Dice, 30, Apple Valley on a charge alleging second-degree DWI. He could be released on his own recognizance with conditions. An omnibus hearing was set for 1 p.m. Aug. 28.

• Daniel Wayne Willette, 39, South St. Paul, plead guilty July 17 to gross misdemeanor DWI test refusal. A fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle charge was dismissed. He was sentenced to 364 days jail, 274 days stayed. He was placed on up to 2 years supervised probation with conditions including 90 days jail, credit for 26 days, complete a comprehensive assessment within 60 days, follow recommendations. He was fined $985 but it may be reduced if he completes sentence to service hours.

• Jeremy David Lone, 40, Gaylord, plead guilty to domestic assault July 17. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered. A sentencing hearing was set for 1 p.m. Oct. 2. He was released on previous conditions.

• Martin John Sunderman, 35, Kasota, plead guilty July 17 to felony fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance and third-degree DWI. Adjudication was stayed on the drug charge. He was placed on up to 3 years supervised probation with conditions including 3 days in the Sibley County Jail, 27 days electronic home monitoring with electronic alcohol monitoring, complete a comprehensive assessment within 60 days, follow all recommendations, complete 40 hours sentence to service within 6 mos., pay $500 within 90 days, attend a victim impact panel.
